Must be 62 years or older, or present a valid TARTA ID or Medicare ID.
Requirements
To request a TARPS application, please call 419-382-9901, option 2, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and holidays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. After your application is received, you will be contacted by phone and/or email to arrange an in-person interview. Transportation for this interview at 130 Knapp Street, adjacent to the Amtrak/Greyhound Station, is free if you would like to use a TARPS vehicle if your pickup address is within the TARTA service area. All registered TARPS customers may use TARTA’s regular bus line, Call-A-Ride and game shuttle services free of fare! This allows TARPS users more flexibility in their schedules and is a great way to save money.
